Is Earth4Energy a scam?

March 10th, 2010

I want to build a windmill with my kids, but do not know much about it.
When I do an internet search for plans Earth4Energy is all I can find.

It looks like some kind of a big pyramid scheme where people are making thousands of websites to try and sell the package.

Has anyone accually used this kit to make there own windmills or solar panels?

Please do not link to your earth4energy site I will report spam. I am looking for people who bought and used it, not people who are selling it.

Thanks

I wouldn’t call it a scam, but I wouldn’t call it up-and-up. Yes, you can build all this stuff yourself, but you find that it doesn’t quite wipe out your electric bill on a roof top windmill.

Theoretically you could build a 100 of these windmills, and you might get close to your power needs, but one critical design flaw is the height. To get to the constant wind flow, you will have to jack the windmill 40 and 60 feet off the ground-the higher the better. Roof-top windmills do not work good unless you get a thunderstorm.

If you want to get a project for you and your kids, check out Mother Earth News. They have all kinds of projects like these, and readers can make comments. I would recommend this avenue for small renewable projects like this.

Can you really make your own solar panels?

here is a video i came across a few days ago that might help.

DIY Solar Panels – ‘Finally Revealed’ Step by Step DIY Instructions to Build Your Own Solar Panels

March 10th, 2010

http://www.SolarEnergyGuide.net – DIY Solar Panels – ‘Finally Revealed’ Step by Step DIY Instructions to Build Your Own Solar Panels
How do you like to build your own DIY solar panels? Having a solar panel system installed at your home can reduce your monthly electric bill by 60%-80%. The interesting part here is you can harness the power of the sun for more or less $200. And there is no need for special skills to create your own DIY solar panels.

Imagine for $200 you can really save 80% of your monthly electric bill. For a minimal investment, you can save a considerable amount of money each month. That is why millions of people are turning their attention on do-it-yourself solar panels projects. Yes, you can make your own solar panel and here is the step-by step process to make DIY solar panels.

First, it is best to get a 16-volt solar panel to suit your needs. It is not difficult to find a panel like this because you can find the parts at the local hardware store. Normally, this panel cost more or less $100.

The next thing you need to get is a battery. You may tend to go big on this one, a small rechargeable battery would be best. Look for a 12 volt deep cell acid or lead battery as they are good for constant use.

Purchase a battery box for safety purpose. In case you build your DIY solar panels in a small area or have children around the area, the battery box will provide protection from the battery and the power it emanates.

You need a DC meter that complements the battery’s voltage and a DC input. These items let you convert the energy from the panel and supply power around your home. You will need to get an inverter to power AC appliances.

Then, it is time to attach the meter and DC input to the top end of the battery box. Use some insulated wires to attach the meter to the battery. It is safe to work with one wire at a time and attach the first wire to negative input first. Same procedure goes when connecting the solar panel and DC inlet to the battery.

Now you may begin harnessing the sun’s power into usable energy. Use a cord to close the lid tightly and put the whole thing out into the sun. You will need eight hours to charge the solar panel and you are ready to use home made energy.

There you go. If you want to demolish your electric bill, then create your own DIY solar panels. Having one installed in your home would be great for the environment and great for your family as well.

These are the basic, summarized steps on how to build your own DIY solar panels, however, if you make the decision to build your own solar panel, and you find these instructions a little complicated or advanced for your knowledge; I recommend that you download a complete step by step study course which will provide you with idiot-proof easy to follow instructions as well as with tech support in case you need assistance in the process.

Building solar panels or windmills (wind turbines) to create green energy for your home can be a very gratifying and rewarding experience, and you can be on your way to be energy free in no time, however, be very careful when you pick an expert or guide to follow since your success of failure may well depend in the information you use to accomplice your goal.

Also, always download a course or package that offers you free Tech Support. It will be a lot easier for you to do this task if you have an expert willing to answer any question you may have along the way. It will be a more enjoyable experience as well.

How to Build Your Own Home Made SOLAR PANEL to Generate FREE Electricity

March 10th, 2010

http://www.EnergyBrainiac.com – How to Build Your Own Home Made Solar Panel to Generate Electricity
If you have ever considered constructing your own home made solar panel then we absolutely urge you to follow up and take action because we are more than confident that you will be glad that you did. We all know that the cost of electricity is quite expensive now and continues to rise so just imagine how great it would be if you could reduce or even eliminate your utility bills.

A solar panel is made of photovoltaic cells that are strung together to create a panel. When the sun’s rays shine on the cells energy in the form of heat is absorbed. It is that absorbed energy that is then converted into electricity. It really is a rather simple process but don’t let its simplicity fool you. Solar energy is a very powerful way to generate electricity.

Harnessing the rays of the sun provides a free and unlimited supply of energy. In addition to that, unlike fossil fuels that are not used to generate electricity, solar energy creates no pollution and therefore does not harm the environment in any way, shape or form.

While I dare say that the majority of homeowners would like to take advantage of solar power, the costs can be prohibitive. Preconstructed solar energy systems can be extremely expensive depending upon how involved they are. It is not at all uncommon for people to pay $20,000 or more to have commercially manufactured solar panels installed on their home.

Building your own home made solar panel on the other hand can be done for less than $200. Quite a difference in price isn’t it? Once more, there are no special skills required and the parts and tools necessary to construct your very own photovoltaic solar panel can be purchased at your local hardware store or home improvement center.

Time and again the people that take the initiative to build their own solar panels report that their electricity bills have been, at the very least, cut in half. It is also very possible to eliminate your electricity bill altogether. And if you are truly ambitious you can construct enough homemade solar panels that you can actually create a surplus of electricity that you can sell back to the utility company for a profit.

In addition to the savings you will see on your power bills, the IRS also allows a tax deduction for people that take advantage of alternative energy resources such as solar and wind power. Solar panels will also increase the resale value of your home. It truly is a win-win situation.

While the primary objective to constructing a home made solar panel is to save money on energy costs, an incredibly wonderful byproduct of using solar energy is that it is environmentally friendly. Solar energy is also known as green energy because it is not harmful to the environment and unlike fossil fuels that are currently used to generate electricity, it does not create any pollution.

Learn how you can harness the energy from the sun’s rays by constructing a home made solar panel. Get the facts and information you need when you

how do you make a solar panel with no money?

March 8th, 2010

it has to be homemade and i can’t buy anything

Well it depends on what your actually trying to do as the comment above says its pretty much impossible. Al tho u can make a cheaper homemade version like on this website:
http://www.treehugger.com/files/2008/09/how-to-make-diy-cheap-inexpensive-solar-panels-ebay.php

or if you want to create a way of using the sun to heat water you can do something similar create a long box pain the inside black then lay a painted black metal pipe up and down the box to maximize the length of the pipe in the box.
then simply put a glass top in it to help keep heet in and pump water through the pipe obviously having the box in the sun.

will some one help me plese i need info?

Why can’t we make affordable Solar panels?

March 8th, 2010

We can make devices that can store tens of thousands of songs(ipods) and other products with the top notch technology but we can’t find out out a way to make Solar power systems more affordable. Why???

The Asian market is coming up with some cheap alternatives. Proberly, these better options will outcompete domestic ones that aren’t as evolved.
